the Mask she Wears

That smile. . .

Yeah that smile hides her fears

Those eyes. . .

Very well they hide her tears

Those lips. . .

They know what not to say

For if smile and eyes could speak as said

They’ll give up about the lie they say

She hides her demons deep inside

Let them wander through her mind

The demons eat up her insides

Making her soul dead from life

But she can’t remove that mask

She has to smile no matter what.

But the mask now has started to break

It’s forming on all her shades

And soon they’ll know what she is

Soon they’ll see what they never wished.

Her mask is what’s saving her

She needs to stand upright and hold. . .

The mask. . .

Mask she carries is hers

But we all too carry a mask for us. . .
